Bonnie Richardson, MA
Bonnie has 10+ years of experience working in secondary schools and universities. Bonnie earned her Masters in Critical & Cultural Theory from Cardiff University in the U.K. and her B.A. in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Central Florida. Bonnie’s time teaching abroad has only further enriched her time in the classroom where she enjoys teaching English and tutoring in mathematics.
Alexis Allen, M.Ed
Science Teacher and Learning Support Coordinator
Over the last several years, Alexis has worked as a math and science teacher for US Embassy schools in some fascinating countries. She enjoys interacting with students and assisting them in reaching their potential both as students and young adults.
Zach Allen, M.Ed
Science & Math Teacher
Zach teaches math and science classes at Timbersong’s Bat Cave campus. He loves using creative project based learning activities to engage and challenge students. Zach believes that empowering students through their academic experience is a critical part of their journey. He enjoys the opportunity to build a rapport with students.
MA History and Language Arts Teacher
Prior to working with Timbersong, Shane taught in private school and community college settings with teens and young adults. He holds an M.A in History and a B.A. in History Education from Appalachian State University. Shane’s utmost passion is working with and challenging students through vigorous discussion and debate. This sharpening both his students' analytical and critical thinking skills, he hopes to prepare them to live and thrive in our ever-changing world.
